ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Current photo ID
- Provide a current CORI check before taking part in the training
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and to reach overhead is required
- Pass reading & math assessment (Patient Care Technicians and Phlebotomy students must score 75%, Medical Assistant and Administrative Assistants must score 80%)
- Proof of personal health insurance
- Proof of Professional Liability Insurance
- Provide a negative COVID-19 results or proof of vaccination 48 hours prior to the start of class
- In order to attend class online, students enrolling in any hybrid program MUST have a personal computer, internet access, and download Zoom.
Required Medical Documents
- A current Physical Exam
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria booster
- Negative TB results or Chest x-ray within 1 year
- Hepatitis B Vaccine/Antibodies
- Confirmation of varicella (chickenpox)
- Provide a negative COVID-19 results or proof of vaccination 48 hours prior to the start of the externship
